Tonight Eric and I packed a dinner and drove up the canyon for a nice ride. We parked next to Pine View, got out of the truck, and sat on the tailgate facing the water. The wind was blowing. I set my BLT on the the tailgate next to me and it fell onto the ground. A few minutes later a Seagull flew next to us and landed on the ground. He had his eye on my BLT. As he got closer I noticed he was missing his left foot and part of his leg. Instantly the bird and I had a connection. I threw my BLT closer to him. I think the Seagull enjoyed his dinner tonight.
