Apple Picking

Saturday we drove the family to Paradise Valley Orchard to pick apples!  We're going to make apple butter and apple sauce this year.  We're not huge apple pie fans so we're opting out of making apple fie filling.  The kids had a blast walking through the orchard picking the best apples they could find.  The weather was perfect and the crowd was small.  We ended up with 40 pounds of apples and of course couldn't leave without purchasing fresh pressed apple cider!
