Chocolate Sunday....

Joe and I had a great Sunday, great weekend.  Sunday was the day of chocolate delights.  I dipped strawberries in  chocolate and Joe made homemade hot chocolate.  The hot chocolate was to die for!
We also roasted tomatoes my mom gave me from her garden.  We don't want to waste any of our produce this fall.  So, we roasted tomatoes and put them in the freezer to use in our breads and red sauces.

Chocolate and Strawberries:
Melt half a bag of semi sweet dark chocolate chips in double boiler.
Add two or three shakes of ground cinnamon and one shake of ground cloves.
Dip strawberries in chocolate and let cool on wax paper or tin foil.
Half a bag of chocolate chips makes 20 - 24 strawberries.

Roasted Tomatoes:
Slice tomatoes and place them on a lined, oiled baking sheet.
Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt.
Roast at 200 degrees for 10 - 12 hours.
If you have room freeze the tomatoes on the baking sheets and then transfer to freezer
bag for storage.

Joe's homemade hot chocolate!
Delicious!
