Burning Weeds!

We bought a house that hadn't been lived in for the better part of a year, and the previous owners had let the yard go long before leaving.  We spent all day weeding, raking, and gathering weeds; then we burned them!  We're going to add the ash to our compost; the carbon will be good for our future garden.
